－ 1 －はしがき ここに、『伊勢志摩百物語』第５集を皆様にお届けすることができ嬉しく思います。今回の内容は、この地方で知られた滝、あるいは地元の住民しか知らないような小さな滝を取り上げました。いずれも全国的に著名な滝ではありません。しかしながら、涼しい水が間断なく落ちてくる谷間、修行の場となっている滝、神仏が祀られ神聖な場所として崇拝対象となっている滝など、実際に滝を訪れると私たちの心が自然の中で清められ、精神性が高められるという印象を持つことができます。 この冊子を刊行する上で、私たちは、皇學館大学「おかげキャンパス・プロジェクト」の助成金をうけることができました。「おかげ」とは、神々への感謝の気持ちを表す言葉です。このような神道文化を背景とした、本学のユニークな学生支援に対して、私たちは敬愛を込めて「おかげさま」で「完成しました」と申し上げます。そして、本書の編集長をつとめてくれた千蔵富貴さんに感謝します。令和２年３月25日編集スタッフ一同Preface We are pleased to be able to publish the 5th volume of "One Hundred Stories in Ise-Shima Region."In this small booklet, we introduce the thirteen selected waterfalls in this area. Those are not nationally known but are loved by locals. When you visit those falls, you will enjoy the coolness of water falling into the small valley and find the sacred atmosphere where the Kami or Japanese deities, Hotoke or buddhas and intangible holy beings are enshrined. There you can feel refreshed in nature and have the impression that your spirituality is enhanced. We are very grateful to Kogakkan University for their financial support through “Okage Campus Project” to compile this booklet.A word “okage” means one’s gratitude to Kami in a cultural context of Shinto tradition.
