Our department has graduates who score in the top tiers for employment as teachers in Mie Prefecture, and we are proud of our excellent track record. Our system of education has established a reputation for equipping students with practical instructional skills through training such as practice teaching classes run by students and volunteer activities at schools.
In the School Education Course, the aim is to train students for employment as elementary school teachers whose perspective extends to preschool, junior high school, and high school. In the Preschool Education Course, it is possible for students to simultaneously obtain a nursery school teacherʼs certification as well as Class 1 preschool and elementary school teacherʼs licenses. In the Health and Physical Education Course, we train students to become health and physical education teachers who can convey to junior and senior high school students the value and beauty of physical exercise, In the Mathematics and Science Education Course, we train students to became mathematics and science teachers of junior and senior high schools.
