Graduate School of Letters
The purpose of this graduate school, based on our school philosophy, is to pursue culture based on our country's history and tradition and to establish ethics and mentality of the world standards. In addition, it cultivates individuals who can take the lead in the intellectual activities of the times. Graduate School of Literature offers doctoral degree programs in Shinto Studies, Japanese Literature, and Japanese History that are divided into the first (master's) and second (doctoral) programs. In these programs distinguished faculty members with rich teaching experience develop individualistic guidance according to each field of expertise. These programs nourish elaborate scholarly experiences and research skills in each major field. In the second part of the doctoral degree program students promote their own studies based on their rich experiences, where they can conduct self-supported study activities as researchers, along with highly-advanced study capabilities. Located near the university are the Jingu Bunko Library and the Jingu Chokokan Museum that stores precious documents and reference materials in any field of Shinto Studies, Japanese Literature, and Japanese History. They provide very helpful and useful references for study activities. Based on the achievements of these educational programs and studies, Kogakkan University has produced numerous excellent researchers, while receiving high marks from various fields as an edifice of Japanese culture studies.

Graduate School of Education
- This graduate school is composed of the master's degree program of education with its focus on studies of education based on the pursuit and enhancement of our country's traditional culture.
- The campus is located in Ise, where Ise Jingu solemnly sits. In consideration of the purpose of its foundation, our university has a close relationship with Ise Jingu. Therefore, Kogakkan University is located in the idea place and environment for studying education.
- Great scholars and leading professors promote studies and education cooperatively. In order to guide students in thier studies, our university offers thorough individualistic education according to the expertise of each instructor.
- The master's degree program of Education also has an evening course in addition to day-time course so as to accept in-service teachers as students. This program develops studies of education with its focus on practical skills to cope with modern educational issues. By doing so, this program fosters not only specialist teachers with collective strengths and applicative skills but also researchers of practical education and leading educators.

Specialist Course of Shinto Studies
Specialist Course of Shinto Studies was established in 1981. Inheriting the school philosophy of Jingu Kogakkan University, the purpose of this program is to teach profound Shinto philosophies based on the studies at the department of Shinto, and give practical instructions for their studies. This program offers a highly-advanced specialized education. At the same time, it also aims to train Shinto priests that will play a leading role in the arena of Shinto in the future.
